Assembling
BuoyTec Elastic Mooring Array on deck of workboat off the Australian
Northwest Shelf. BuoyTec Model NB-84 Telemetry Buoys were moored
on elastic tri-moors. The buoys provided real-time positioning data
in support of geophysical prospecting. Buoy watch-circles were limited
to 5 meters (radius) in water depths up to 100 meters and current
speeds of up to 150 cm/sec (3 knots)
